In 1993 Dr. Song was invited as a visiting professor from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he learned endoscopic plastic surgery from Dr. Vasconez who is the frontier of endoscopic plastic surgery in America. With Dr. Grotting who is now the president of the American Society for Asethetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Song performed lots of free TRAM for the reconstruction of breast cancer patients. In 1994 Dr. Song succeeded in bilateral free TRAM breast reconstruction firstly in Korea. The clinic has had remarkable success – based on its rich clinical experience – especially with face-lifts, endoscopic brow lift, oculoplastic surgery, rhinoplasty, breast surgery, liposuction, and body contouring.

Dr. Song has served as the Secretary, Auditor, Director of the Korean Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Director of the Korean Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Song have been a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons and International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
